The Grounds
Forty acres, mostly left alone, offering plenty of space for peaceful walks and room for kids to run free. The property features twenty acres of restored native prairie, fifteen acres dedicated to hay and vegetables, with old maples and burr oaks scattered throughout, and Beaver Creek flowing along the back.
The prairie path to Beaver Creek
The prairie path is a mowed loop through the prairie that leads down to Beaver Creek and follows it along the back of the property. It runs close to half a mile and is best with a cup of morning coffee or at sunset. Along the way you'll find a variety of wildflowers, and it's not uncommon to see beavers at work or cranes wading in the creek. There's a lot of wildlife here, so no two walks are quite the same.

The firepit and the hammock
The firepit is a great place to gather with friends over s'mores or a drink at the end of the day. The hammock is for a book or a midday nap, swaying gently in the breeze.

The woodshed and the hot tub
The woodshed gives you a spot out of the sun or rain while staying outdoors. In the cooler months, the hot tub is a soothing way to enjoy the outdoors and rest your muscles after an active day.

A working farm
Meyers Family Farms grows organic vegetables here. You'll see the work going on around you, and what's in season finds its way to your kitchen counter.
Please enjoy the fields from the edges. They are someone's livelihood.

Through the seasons
Spring brings planting and the first green across the prairie. Summer is the prairie in bloom, fireflies, and long evenings by the fire. Fall brings the color of the maples and oaks and the end of the harvest. Winter brings snow, quiet, and the warmth of the wood stove.
